Impetuous Thoughts

Cute 60’s floral sewing bag, now up on Etsy!

My absolute favorite find of the entire YEAR! This night gown is gorgeous and fits like a dream. My only question is….HOW OLD IS THIS? It is made of nylon with a YKK zipper, listed as a size ten by vanity fair, with serged seams.

I can’t tell if this is 40’s, 50’s, or 60’s!

Note: It did come with a very covering robe, long sleeved and high necked, as seen here. They are a set. http://www.etsy.com/listing/84506492/vintage-robe-in-floor-length-periwinkle

Does anyone out there know?

I am putting it out there- where do you guys find most of your vintage clothing?

I have started a little etsy store selling vintage clothing because I love vintage stuff so much- but I always seem to find things that are not in my size, but buy them anyway. Now I am starting to actively look for cool vintage items to add to my inventory. I do the usual thrifting and occasional yard sales, but where do you guys find the good stuff? I am on the hunt for 40’s and 60’s stuff, though I am dying for some edwardian pieces (which I am sure I will never find :’( )

Where is your most reliable source for cool, unique vintage clothes?
